2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DeanF (1484) - Iqaluit, - JAN 20, 2011
Reading the back of the label does not instill confidence in this one, as it extolls the virtue of the water it’s brewed from. Sure, it’s nice to have special water, now howsabout some special brewing to go with it? Pours with a decent thick white head and okay bright gold heavily carbonated body. Aroma of lemon and grain. Flavour is a smooth mix of lemon, bread, with just a hint of hops. Decent palate. I’m pleasantly surprised by this one - it’s not great, but it doesn’t horribly suck like I expected either!
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 18, 2012
Originally rated October 2005. Pours a pale straw colour with a fizzy white head. Hardly any retention and no lacing at all. Clean as a cat’s ass. Grainy smell of malt with some sweetness mixed with some sourness. Very light taste of malt with some corn in the aftertaste. Half soda-water mouthfeel. Very boring, and glad I did not buy a 24 of this stuff... like the guy who gave me one of these. Thanks Germ.

Had this while visiting family in Temiscamig. Nothing more than a Macro-quality lager craft produced for Northwestern Quebecers that don’t like the taste of beer. Pours piss yellow with lively carbonation, virtually no head, just bubbles. No smell whatsoever. Actually has a bit of a green apple taste - fairly crisp, I could see this going over well with light beer drinkers. No aftertaste whatsoever. It’s cheap, but then again tapwater in Temiscamig is free.

Bouteille 341 ml. Jaune moyen, reflet d’or, peu de mousse. Le goût est très léger, peu de corps, mince et finale douteuse. À première vue, une bière de soif correct mais la finale déçoit. Ressemble à une bière commerciale légère. Très ordinaire.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Daytona00 (124) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 23, 2010
Buy a 6 pack of that beer. I finally decide to give it a try since we find this beer in alot of supermarket here. At first I thought it was like a sort of Kokanee from Quebec. Its a light beer, very inoffensive. But there is this small poor ending that I dont like. I dont think I will buy it again.

341 mL bottle. Yellow-gold with a white head that barely lasts long enough to mention. Aroma of corn, grain, and a cloying sweetness. Taste is just syrupy sweetness. I don’t think hops have been anywhere near this beer. Not good.

This is pretty awful all around. Weak nose, heavy carbonation, super pale color with very little head. The short mouthfeel is a plus because it makes it ends the suffering. Their claim to fame is that this beer is made from esker water (reputedly pure and absolutely flavorless) They should have used it to make vodka instead, it would have been a better use.
1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 mabel (4405) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 6, 2009
[2219-20090605] Sample. Vegetal straw fart aroma, as offensive as you might find such a concoction. Clear, light yellow body with a quick bubbly white head. Light herbal straw flavour is lightly grainy. Light-medium body. Not horrid but very boring.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 jerc (5580) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 8, 2009
2009-06-05. Crisp yellow body with a white film of a head. Strange aroma has odd fruity notes and vegetation. Flavour is dull, industrial seeming grains, muted overall. Light bitterness and occasional fruit notes. Average to thin palate. Not endearing. On tap at Mondial 2009, Montreal
