Luppoo, lupulus, on pense aux déclinaisons latines. Hop, hop, hoppy this beer, if we agree with the terms on the bottle.

Bottle from Blackhearts & Sparrows. Nice yeasty ale. Aromas of dough, and hints of caramel. Taste is sweet, with light sour and bitter notes, long length. Palate is velvety, almost creamy, and medium bodied. Yellow, bit cloudy, with a frothy head.

Belle robe jaune. Bonne astringence.

Golden yellow body and grey stable head. Pleasant hop aroma with classic hops, yet fruity and floral still. Spruce even. Still mild though and accessible. Drinks easily as well with light yet pleasant bitterness and full enough malts. Very nice actually, much better than expected. (33cl bottle from Bierparadijs)

Etiket is inmiddels iets gewijzigd.

bright yellow blonde. fresh, medium body, smooth. beginning of round and sweet, then break out the bitterness that persists in the aftertaste. Elegant intense bitter end. dry hoping with amarillos hop. superb. bionda giallo luminoso. fresca, corpo medio, armoniosa. inizio rotondo e dolce, poi divampa l’amaro che persiste nel retrogusto. Amaro fine intenso elegante. sicuro dry hoping e luppoli amarillos. superba.

Draft at de Paas (The Hague), abt beer of the month. Slightly hazy golden colour, nice just off-white head. Very fruity and hoppy Belgian ale. Good malty and yeast as well, giving this beer a nice body and mouth feel. Excellent!
