Golden to brown body with little hazy and a bubbly off white head. Surprisingly citric aroma, sweet fruit juice, juniper berries and white sugar. Sweaty yeast, almost lactic taste even though it’s a clean brewed beer with clear yeast. Odd and not sure if this is for me. Well made, and interesting, but not the Belgian blond I’m after. (33cl bottle from Bierparadijs)

Jaune trouble. Bien maltée (quatre malts différents), très légère amertume, retour légèrement suret.

11.2 oz bottle 5/14/13 (Binny’s Naperville Clearance Rack)-40° in Trappist Glass-Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, malt, and citrus. Taste of the same with some floral thrown in there. This medium bodied brew is nicely balanced and goes down quite easily,

Nose is soft fruit, herbs, and white peach. The taste is of white peach, and a soft sherbert like note, which reminded me of palma violets in a way I can’t explain. There is almost no bitterness to the taste, and the finish is floral. Full mouthfeel with some carbonation. An unusual beer, not unpleasant but I see no reason to return.

Dourada, espuma pouco persistente. Carbonatação media, médio corpo. Aroma herbáceo, caramelo, um pouco frutado. Sabor com dulçor equilibrado, caramelado, com especiarias, frutado. Médio amargor. Bem refrescante. Muito boa cerveja. Surpreendeu ..... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Praha. BBE 20.10.2009, rated on 23.10.2009
Aroma has toffee typical to aged Belgian ales, some herbal notes and fruits. Flavour has toffee, caramel, some fruits and yeasty notes. Fruity and rich, a positive surprise.

Amber, hazy, thin white head; aroma is yeast, malt and orangey citrus; sweet yet rounded malty flavour develops into a full, ripe burst of citrus, then a touch of spice; citrus persists into the finish alongside light bitterness; well constructed and very drinkable Belgian.

Bottle from Blackhearts & Sparrows. Great yeasty beer. Aromas of bread, nuts, cinnamon, citrus. Taste is sweet, with sour notes, very long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Dark yellow, with a frothy head.

Bottled. Pours a quite pale straw, with a white head. Spicy in both aroma and taste, hints of orange peel and coriander, and a notable sweetness. Feels more like a wit to me. Quite easy to like, but nothing fantastic. (2009-03-02)
