Pours a murky gold with a fizzy white head. Nose and taste is of bright summer fruits, hay, and spice. Very nice easy drinking well balanced beer. Quite refreshing.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Hazy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, spicy nose with apricots, orange, grain and coriander seed. Malty, fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, apricots, hints of yeast and a spicy finish with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Pour is a bronze with a small white head. Aroma is citrus fruit with some mild clove. Flavor is a dull grain with a little fruit yeast and finshes sweet. Not an overly carbonated, overly alcoholic Belgian, just a nice pleasant sipper.

Koelschtrinker (6544) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2011
Test vom 17.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,10,12,-,11 - 11,10

Trendy looking bottle with a trendy looking glass. When poured it shows a hazy golden beer, with a nice firm white head on top. Aroma has bread malts, some dough and a bit of alcohol. Flavour is really fresh, some bitter sweet tones of grains and dry sour finish. Bit too much sour in my humble opinion, but certainly a decent beer.

Clear golden color/ white head. Spicy coriander, clove, orange, pale malt aromas. Light to medium bodied. Mild coriander, clove, peppery spice flavors with some orange zest, mild honey--decent.
