750 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, tiny bubbled, lasting white head, over a cloudy gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is light ginger, citrus, cereal, yeast......taste is light sweet to start, leading to citrus, ginger, bubblegum/banana, finishing with a light hop bitterness.....mouth feel is light, carbonation adds a refreshing spritz. This is a lighter Belgian Ale and is quite refreshing. It is almost Saison like in its qualities. BJCP 6/3/13/4/6

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 carlb (62) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 2, 2010
Poured a light golden with a 3 inch white head. The head settled in at two inches. The ale has significant carbonation released in part by the yeast sediment that poured into the glass. Modestly cloudy. The nose suggests hay, coriander, and perky yeast. The body is medium light and the lingers decently. The notes are distinctly light, crisp, with a hint of spice. Can bets be described as a light Belgian Ale. Hints of a Belgian golden. The lace is reasonably well developed. The alcohol is restrained yet not to be dismissed. I am not impressed, but will try one more, poured off the lees/yeast: The ale is still a little cloudy - like a summer haze. The head settled in at 1 inch and brilliantly white. The nose still suggest coriander, but has added citrus notes and restrained yeast. The carbonation is more noticeable on the palate and the body is light. It is a more pleasant drink, yet still "Belgian light", whatever that means. The lace is well formed. The lingering is pleasantly and crisp with yeast and hop notes. Still make me think of Belgian Golden. I would be pleased to consume again, but find the cost decreases the value.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Rando7 (447) - Iowa, USA - MAR 21, 2010
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2010 Bottle pour medium slightly cloudy yellow with thick white persistent head and nice lacing. Aroma moderate, fruity and slightly sweet. Taste spicy, malt, citrus, coriander. Very slightly bitter, not overpowering at all. Kind of a lightweight in comparison to other Belgian ales but that would appeal to some.

Cloudy-ish gold, fluffy white head. Cirusy, sweet, lemony, yeasty. Nicely sweet flavor, with a mix of yeast, bubblegum, and some citrus notes. If there is such a thing as a "typical" Belgian flavor profile, this has it.
