3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Frank (1966) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 30, 2010
Hazy orangish yellow. Huge head of mixed bubbles that leaves behind little lace. Banana and apple dominate the nose along w/ a lavender floral note. Comes across as rather dry, especially for a beer w/ only a gentle hint of bitterness. Carbonation is very vigorous but soft. Medium bodied but comes across as light and refreshing. I wish I was drinking this on my back porch in summer time.

From tap, 33 cl. Yellow, hazy coloured beer with a little white head that eventually lasts the whole time. Spicy and malty smell. Taste of Witbier: malty, grainy, barley, light sweet with a light hoppy aftertaste. Good one!
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beershine (4561) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JAN 15, 2010
Milky yellow-gold with tiny particulates. Sweet Belgian yeast aroma is fruity and with some coriander. Fizzy, prickly palate. The flavors also finish abruptly. Very herbal beer with basil, fennel and coriander seeds. Dry finish. Is nice.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Oakes (9997) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 31, 2009
Blonde and yeasty looking. Chunky even. Perfumey and floral aroma. Spicy, perfumey character. Belgian yes but not terribly well balanced.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 rickgordon (3758) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2009
Bottle. Deep golden colour with average-sized head. No chunk or even a sign of bottle-conditioning. Rich tidbitty aroma, really tons of it. Pale malty and bit fruity otherwise in aroma. Softish mouthfeel, tidbits again. Low on the hops. Not really any flavour profile. I like the tidbits, but as a style it feels really anonymous, just like the yeast profile.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BigBeer45 (934) - Michigan, USA - NOV 19, 2009
Small Bottle, which lists 6.6% alc. (not 6.5%),
has an orange-gold pour with a little yellow and some haze, gave a two finger white bubbled head, head does recede to a ring and little islands after a while, medium effervescence or a little less, bottom of the bottle was covered by light colored sediment that contaminates the glass half way through the pour,
light fruit aromas of orange and pear, and fruit citrus, pale bread malt, light spices, there is some white sugar (powder sugar) sweetness in the background, I noticed some yeast fragrance as I poured the contents towards the bottom of the bottle, first impression aromas resemble a Trippel ale,
flavors of pale malt with some fruit orange and lemon citrus tartness (not much) with light spices, finishes dry with a little bitterness,
mouth feel is light to medium, I think this beer could use a little more carbonation, intersting on the nose but one dimensional (boring) in flavor, this drink was ok but there are better drinks to choose from.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ungstrup (22906) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 10, 2009
Bottled. A golden beer with huge chunks of sediment floating around under a medium off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of spice - coriander and lemon peal, as well as light notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of spices - especially coriander as well as notes of yeast, peaches, and oranges, leading to a dry spicy finish.
