A dark orange brown coloured beer with a frothy white head. A rubbery aroma on opening the bottle, but this soon dissipates to allow a nutty and caramel malt aroma with a hint of spice in the background. Medium-dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a mouth filling malt flavour. Nutty and caramel, biscuity and toffee. There is a mild hoppy bitterness that adds a refreshing element to the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50 cl bottle @ home, no BBE info
Aroma is a bit metallic with nuts and toffee. Also butterscotch. Flavour has toffee, nuts, some harsh malt and metallic tones. Too metallic and harsh.

Tolles Bitter. malzig, leicht röstig. Für 3,9% recht tief und aromatisch. Leicht bitterer und malzig Ale-typischer Nachgeschmack.

A perfect British ale. It is mellow, low alcohol, fruity, dry. Beautiful amber color, taste of walnut and fruits, wow. Just stunning. Why the others rate it so low is a mystery to me. Easily Belhaven’s BEST beer. Try for yourself.

Golden brown color, light tan head. Roasted malt nose, caramel, hint of wort. Sweet, malty taste with a light bitter finish, smoky notes. A bit thin and over-carbonated.
