Intensive chocolate and some roasted malts in aroma. Beautiful creamy beige head with tremendous lacing. Dark brown almost black body. Not very intensive taste of roasted malts. Lightly bitter and lightly sour. Very drinkable.

Flaska.

Bottle 50 cl.
Dark brown, with a mostly diminishing tan head. Rather shy on the nose. Toasted malt and bread. Light bitter malt. Quite thin and fizzy for a stout.

Keg @ Moorings, Sowerby Bridge. Full-bodied almost black stout with a creamy head. It has a rich heavy texture and a full roasted nose with coffee notes in both aroma and flavour.

440ml can, poured into my Stone IRS tulip. Purchased from Party Town. Fills it up beautifully with an awesome ascending nitro bubble appearance that looked like it reached 85% down the glass. Leaves me after a few seconds with a 1.5 finger thick khaki head that retains. Leaves plenty of super thick sheet-like lace. Nitro beers are so fun. Nice big dark chocolate, light roast, big malt aroma to this. Nice bigger bitterness, light sweet. Good smooth creamy carbonation, light body, nice thicker, full texture. Lightly dry finish. Some chocolate milk like aroma. Fantastically drinkable, and I love the awesome aftertaste that a nice big swig offers. A great one to wash my dinner down with. Fantastic, ridiculously smooth beer. I’d like to see an American craft brewery try something like this (that isn’t a milk stout).

Went into this hoping that it would be something similar to Guinness... disappointed. Painfully average stout... would not waste my $$ again...

Pint, some hints of roast coffee and burnt toast and definitely better than a Guinness in the flavour department but overall very thin feeling and oddly fizzy, almost as if someone had topped up the Keg with Perrier... OK but could be better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at surf club NYE 2013. Thanks Eric for hooking it up. This was okay. A bit better than Guinness, but alas, it was still just another pasteurized nitro stout with all the flavor sucked out of it.
