Tap @ Terminus, small sample. Dark color, beautiful medium lasting creamy head. Aroma of earthy hop, soft roast, bit coffee. Soft bitter in taste, creamy mouthfeel. Just like an oldskool stout should be.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour from 14.9 oz can. Black brew with tan head. Aroma of roasted malts. Taste is nice blend of roasted grain, hints of coffee and chocolate, ends with a sweet caramel and a little toffee, final flourish of a little burnt grain at the last. Quite sweet and a little weak throughout. Smooth oily palate, very enjoyable to drink.

Clear dark brown color. Very fine, but low carbonation. No fruity yeast or hop aroma. Had whiffs of chocolate and burned malts. Quite sweet, but with a good balance from the bitter malts. Rich, oily mouthfeel, but still with a lightish body. Chocolately flavor, but doesn’t last long. Not too bad.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Brown, clear, with a large light tan head that dissipates in a minute. Aroma: milk chocolate, coffee, cereals, roasted malt. Taste: same as aroma, with a very mild acidity and low bitterness. Smooth, somewhat overcarbonated for a stout, with less than medium body. I expected a more aggressive stout, but it turned out very mild. Still, its aroma and taste are balanced and very much stout-like. The head and carbonation are the weak points, but I still think it’s a decent brew.
