3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can @ home. Black with a large beige head. Taste is of roasted malts, chocolate and a touch of fruits. Very smooth with a slightly dry aftertaste. The cask version is sightly better than it is on can, but despite its watery texture it is quite drinkable. This is IMHO as good as a Guinness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pitch black.color with a off white fluffy head. The aroma is rosty and chocolate. The flavor is roasty and chocolate with taffy. The palate is more thicker than I would think for a nitro.

Aromat jest całkiem przyjemny. Palone słody, zapach kawy z odrobiną śmietanki. W smaku trochę puste, ale dobrze zbalansowane. Smak palonych słodów, kawy, mleka, delikatna goryczka. Piana świetna, kremowa.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nitro-can. Pours a black color with a tan head that lasts. Aroma of roasted malt, touch of coffee and dark fruit. Taste of roasted malt, coffee, bit of dark chocolate and smoke. Nice bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, smooth and creamy. Nice beer for the style. Nothing wrongwith an old world stout once in a while.

Pi?kna aparycja czarnego stoutu, piana mikrop?cherzykowa jak ?mietana, trzyma si? szk?a. W aromacie troszk? siarki ale raczej dlatego ?e aromat wogóle s?aby. Dobry natomiast smak. Palone s?ody, kawa, ciemna czekolada ktora przebrzmiewa równie? w aromacie. Przyjemny gorzkawo- kawowy posmak uprzyjemniajacy czas pomi?dzy kolejnymi ?ykami.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
I swear that UK brewers must possess some clandestine and ancient malting secret when it comes to Stouts. I don’t know how a shade of blacker that is blacker than black exists but it does. The head is a creamy wonder of beige existence, traces of its earlier whereabouts evident from the thickly coated inside. Well, that was the good part. This likely otherwise quite tasty beer is ruined by stinging metallic notes in both smell and taste, rising above what I imagine are rather enjoyable dark chocolate and coffee notes. The resulting brew is a slightly watery (despite creamy and thick appearances) onyx pour with soft carbonation and a truly annoying taste of kissing a robot. I would be intrigued to try this on tap close to the source. From a can, no way man. Luckily I have another can in case this one was a dud. Fingers crossed.
