Really good stout, but just really started enjoying stouts this summer. Taste of caramel and smooth, seems more watery then others. Light head and almost a black color. Not a Guinness heavy drink. Enjoyable...doesn’t feel like a meal.

Coffee, caramel, chocolate, grains and roasted malts. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a delicious stout, but maybe a bit watery.

Nitro can. Poured a dark brown, almost black color with an off white head. Muted roast, chocolate, and some coffee. Thinner all the way around and a bit boring.

It’s quite heavily carbonated. In taste and aroma it’s malty. But aroma itself is very weak. Doesn’t have this coffee sour taste and feeling. Very drinkable, watery. It’s dark seal color, non-transparent.

Black color with a creamy and frothy tan head, good lasting and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of licorice, roasted malts and black chocolate. Flavor is mild bittery with roasted notes, some ashes, licorice and coffee beans. Light bittery final with a dry mouthfeel.

I love it. It tastes a lot like a Guinness, but with a malty/chocolaty richness inside it. It’s the (almost) perfect beer. All it needs is a bump up in alcohol content.

Draught. This was a welcome find at local Pubs in Dunbar and Belhaven. Great stout.

4-pack of cans at The Beer Store with the nitro widget. Pours a dark brown colour, a little darker than cola with a cascade effect that disappears quickly but forms a creamy beige head that lasts a while. Beautiful roasted malt nose giving coffee notes and nuts. Full creamy lacing follows. Still roasted malts in the taste, but watery. Very mild coffee, nuts and liquorice. Very mild. Still, an easy-drinking Scottish stout that is not too heavy, but smooth.

500ml tölkki. Iso, hitaasti tiivistyvä vaahto, hiivainen tupakkainen tuoksu. Limainen, vetelä, väljähtänyt suuruntuma. Vaahdossa aistittavissa kahvia, maku muuten oudon esanssinen, tupakkaa.

Canned 0,50L. Dark and deep black color, intense and creamy head of long long duration. Nice aspect. Ashed and smoked wood aroma, intense roast malty and soft alcoholic nose. Medium smooth taste, good alcoholic and bitterish palate, good and long roasty final. Ash and carbon end.
