Bottle bought in Ellon, drunk at home. Rocky head to start with. On the light side for a stout but fine.

Deep black color with a thin and small head that disappear quickly with no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt with hints of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is also like aroma with some notes of wood and coffee. Low carbonation and medium body with a roasted finish.

First impressions are always lasting. Crack goes the can, and since I am in a hotel, no glass....boo....light coffee aroma barely coming out of the can, with a touch of chocolate. Feels quite thin throughout the sip. Initial flavors of chocolate heavy light roasted coffee come through. The chocolate stays behind, with a bitter bakers chocolate tinge. I enjoy Belhaven’s other brews and this falls a bit short for me. Will do a follow up when proper glasses are available.

Mustaa ja tunkkaista eli hyvää. Hyvä aromi, pehmeä ja pieni humala. Ihan parhaita luokassaan.

Bottle - Black in colour. Malty; roasty malts, roast coffee, chocolate, vanilla, liquorice. Fruity; mild berry fruits. Hoppy; some hop bitterness. Fairly thin. Slight sweetness. A rather mild stout. OK. Drinkable.
