Cask@St Albans Beer Festival. Pretty refreshing stuff, but on the sweet side. Kiwi fruit, strawberry, blackurrant? Its a bit girly, but its not too bad.

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Deep orange colour. Attack of blackcurrant fruit, bit of cereal and then more watery blackcurrant on the finish. Pretty good fruit beer

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Copper colour with a red tinge. Quite fresh, intense cassis aroma. Not too artificial. Falls away on the palate. The fruit is less apparent and there’s not much else coming through to replace it. Some acidic notes but its all a bit soft. Still better than I anticipated.

Cask conditioned - handpump - St Albans BF. An amber coloured beer with some blackberry fruit notes in the aroma together with some sorry sulphur. The taste is fruity with berries. It is quite sweet and ’babyish’ - Ok though.
