Very small white head. Amber(peach!?!) colour. Aroma is sweet, a little artificial, fruity (berries, peach). Medium body, lively. Taste is dominated by sweetness...

Caramel-amber colour with a moderate head. Aroma has fruit/berry notes and a bit of malt, but is pretty non-descript. Flavour is moderately malty and nutty, with background hints of syrupy fruit - most notably blackberry, raspberry and a hint of peach (although the latter doesn't seem to be an ingredient if the label graphics are to be trusted). Neither the fruit nor the beer are strong enough to carry this brew very far.

joeycapps (1468) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 21, 2003
Dark gold w/ raspberry hue. Pinkish head. Blackberry, raspberry, & strawberry on the nose. Light body. Flavour is very malty (bread, smoke?) with quite a hoppy finish. Fruit comes through slightly on the palate, but more as a syrupy sweetness than fruit. Odd beer.

Cartoonkhaki (1179) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 18, 2003
This is a confusing drink. It is dark brass gold in colour. It has a light fruit aroma which I really don't taste when I drink it. I could mistake it for being overly hopped and not having any fruit at all in it. There is a slight metalic aftertaste. It is decent but not the greatest.

Malt, fruit aroma, peach? Amber, with a tight medium sized custard head. Malty, smokey, nutty flavours prevail, mild fruit as well. Medium bodied, dry, bitter finish, personable. Interesting.

Oakes (10935) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - JUN 14, 2003
Bright amber; strong, fruit extract aroma. The label is notably vague but I get blackberries, raspberries and maybe cherries. Toasty, bread crusty amber malts dominate the palate, forcing the syrupy fruit to the background, where it intermingles with woody hop bitterness. Subtle smoke notes show as it warms. I'm not comfortable with the discord between aroma and palate, nor am I happy that each seems unbalanced, albeit in opposite directions.

Exotic and fresh. Notes of peaches and pineapple. A nice summerbeer. However in large numbers in gets a little artificial.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Interesting, strong fruit aroma: strawberries and black currant. Sweet and clean with notes of vanilla. No bitterness in a finish dominated by black currant.

Nice aroma of sweet fruits. Fresh and a bit of hops but in general a rather weak body and finish. Too light-bodied.
