My friend Haizi and myself had 1 jar of this beer at a bar, which is closed to Murray field stadium. It was cold night but we felt worm, wonderful, full of power and love in our heart. I brought a set of flowers to my girlfriend who is my wife now. Belhaven is quite nice beer.

This is the best pint of beer ever. Served cold from the keg is just amazing! The cans are OK but you have to have it served in a Scottish pub, beautiful.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Canned, 440 ml.
Clear amber body, creamy neverending finger thick off-white head, flat carbonation.
Nose of toffee and citrusses.
Aroma brings the same combined with some bread underpainted by metallic off-flavours, mouthffeel is nicely slick.
Nutty-citric finish escorted by that metallic feel again.
Somewhat empty, but drinkable brew with an unpleasant touch...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light copper colour, creamy nitro-enabled head, flawless clarity. Aromas are toffee, biscuits and raisins, flavour pretty much follows suit. Medium bodied, smooth and creamy due to the nitrogen. Slight bitterness in the finish but malt dominates.

Bottle at some pub in Edinburgh. Malt and sweet aromas. Pours light copper colour, with nice thin creamy light brown head, persistent, with poor lacework. Medium body and flat carbonation. Taste is basically malty, with some hint of grass and caramel. Finish is short and sweet. Easy to drink, but a bit plain.
