Cask. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Tap @ The Phoenix, London. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, fruits, berries and bitter hops. Nice and smooth with a bitter finish.

Cask @ The Clockwork Beer Co. amber brown colour, good head. Mild resin malt aroma. Mild bready caramel flavour. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Smooth but lacking a lot of flavour. An inoffensive bitter.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of yeast and caramel. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Surprisingly bitter.

Cask by handpump at Bert’s Bar, Edinburgh (17 Feb 12) - clear golden ale with a medium white head, somewhat bitter for Belhaven and lacking the fruitiness I like from most of their beers, but still well drinkable
