On tap, somewhere in Cambridge. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, pines, caramel. Light taste, with hints of grapefruit, honey, some spices. Watery bitter finish. Little bit bland, but OK.

Cask at Iso-Bar. Poor. Looks fine but it is poor. Malt and very little hop. Tangy. Acidic. The last one I’ll drink.

Cask at the GBBF. Golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with some grain, a grassy touch and a bit of diacetyl. Sweet grainy and grassy flavour

tombyars (679) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - OCT 6, 2011
First tasted this in the Hipflask, Saltcoats in August 1998. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale gold in colour with a thick creamy white head. Hoppy floral notes in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give digestive biscuit flavour with tart grapefruit. Hop resins in the short aftertaste are weak and short lived. Finish is bitter sweet with a malt edge. Found this ale poor in flavour and lacked complexity.

Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, apple notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110802]

One-third pint, 3.8% abv, cask, at B7 Snow Bar, GBBF ’11. Clear copper coloured body. Vague smell of farmyard. Green tea and grainy malts in flavour. Abrupt finish of dry bitterness. Thin on the swallow. Very average (Earls Court, London 03.08.2011).

Golden beer, with thick white head.....Aroma - very light, whiff of sweet malt not much else.....
Taste of cereal malt, bit of caramel, very bland.....Finish of almost nothing.
Drinkable, no unpleasant aromas or flavours, but very bland and virtually nothing - below average bitter ZZZzzzzzz
