Amberish with a decent head. Floral, sweet aroma and flavor. Pretty sweet, finishes slightly bitter... pretty tasty. Iíd say itís more of an IPA (as is in its name) than a bitter (as itís listed). Flavorful and a good summertime brew.

Leighton (10969) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2012
Cask at the Old Blackfriars, Aberdeen. Pours clear yellow with a tight, creamy head. Crackers and straw in the nose. Light sweet flavor, straw bitterness, light grass, biscuits and crackers. Light in body with soft, smooth carbonation. Plenty of hay and straw bitters to finish, with modest crackery malt sweetness. Iím surprised by the low rates, as for me this is a perfectly acceptable golden ale.

Had this on tap at Flying Saucer. Was really good, though not as hoppy as a traditional IPA. The initial taste was sweet with roasty malts notes. Ended with a bittersweet taste. Not bad.
