Bottle from super market. Dark brown color, beige head. Bitter sweet taste with caramel, vanilla and a bit of chocolate. Some roastiness in finish. Pretty nice, different stout.

A pretty light stout. Sweet caramel taste. white head. Maybe a good companion to a specific food item, but hard to drink on its own.

Smell of coffee. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee, licorice and slightly chocolate. Aftertaste of chocolate. Mild carbon.

Botella de 500ml. Vaso de ½ Pinta. Saboreada en agt´11. Color cobre oscuro con luces rubí profundo. Corona beige y cremosa. Bastante buena retención con anillos y copos de encaje. Aromas de malta caramelo, maltas tostadas y ciruelas con fragancias florales. Sabores de gentil malteado tostado y notas de mermelada dulce y frutas. Azucarada con leve humo en el intermedio. Cuerpo medio-ligero y carbonatación moderada. Frutas del bosque en el retrogusto. Suave y agradable asimilación. Buen maridaje con postres. 500ml bottle. ½ Pint glass. Enjoyed on agt´11. Dark copper in color, dark ruby to the light. Beige, creamy crown. Fairly well retention, rings & spots on sides. Caramel & toasted malt & plum aromas, some floral hues. Gentle toasted maltiness, sweet syrup & fruity notes. Sugary, slightly smoky in the middle. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Dark berries on the aftertaste. Smooth & gentle drinkability. Matches fairly well with desserts.

Se penso che quando ero giovane la bevevo e ero felice quasi mi faccio schifo da solo... questa è una stout? Ma perpiacere...

35cl bottle from caledonian bar, Budapest. Thin off white head. Dark ruby pour. A bit thin for a stout.

335ml bottle. Hazy dark brown color. Small fluffy white head, disappears quickly. Watery caramel aroma. Taste is sweet, roasted malt notes, caramel, somewhat smoky very lightly bitter ending. Very easy to drink.

2010 review. Dark brown colour with small head. Aroma is caramel, roasted.Flavour is roasted, sweet. Might retest someday.

Bottle. Deep coppery body, small white head. Stout? Weird. This is at least the lightest color I’ve ever come across in a stout or porter... Aroma is also very little stout-like: caramel, toffee, cream cheese hints and some dark malts. Strange. Taste is licorice, sweet dark syrupy notes, nuts, heavy caramel. Near-sickening sweet, and still very far from a stout. Meh. Drinkable, but just about it. But a stout? Hell no!

Caledonia söröző, Budapest, Oktogon. Amikor pár évvel ezelőtt először kóstoltam aszontam, öcsém ilyen jó kis sört rég nem ittam, teljesen selymes teste vajként olvadt el a nyelvemen, igazán tökéletes volt. De... azóta akárhányszor kóstolom újra, nem érzem ugyanazt az első katarktikus érzést, szerintem nem is lehetne stoutnak nevezni, inkább egy barna ale. Nem értem, hogy lehet ez? Engem csaltak meg csak az érzékeim, vagy tényleg megváltozott a McCallum?
