Thin off white head. Dark ruby pour. A bit thin for a stout.

335ml bottle. Hazy dark brown color. Small fluffy white head, disappears quickly. Watery caramel aroma. Taste is sweet, roasted malt notes, caramel, somewhat smoky very lightly bitter ending. Very easy to drink.

2010 review. Dark brown colour with small head. Aroma is caramel, roasted.Flavour is roasted, sweet. Might retest someday.

Bottle. Deep coppery body, small white head. Stout? Weird. This is at least the lightest color I’ve ever come across in a stout or porter... Aroma is also very little stout-like: caramel, toffee, cream cheese hints and some dark malts. Strange. Taste is licorice, sweet dark syrupy notes, nuts, heavy caramel. Near-sickening sweet, and still very far from a stout. Meh. Drinkable, but just about it. But a stout? Hell no!

Caledonia söröző, Budapest, Oktogon. Amikor pár évvel ezelőtt először kóstoltam aszontam, öcsém ilyen jó kis sört rég nem ittam, teljesen selymes teste vajként olvadt el a nyelvemen, igazán tökéletes volt. De... azóta akárhányszor kóstolom újra, nem érzem ugyanazt az első katarktikus érzést, szerintem nem is lehetne stoutnak nevezni, inkább egy barna ale. Nem értem, hogy lehet ez? Engem csaltak meg csak az érzékeim, vagy tényleg megváltozott a McCallum?

Bottle, 355 ml. Clear reddish brown beer with a small light beige head. Malty sweet aroma, nutty, bready, light toffee-ish, a touch of honey or flowers in bloom. Taste is rather sweet with fruity notes of oranges and lightly roasted malts. Very soft carbonation, light body. Not exactly what I would define as a stout, but I actually quite like it. Fits perfext with the spring setting in right now. Finish is light bitter.

Впервые попробо& это пиво несколь& лет назад в пабе и долго искал его в продаже, наконец- нашёл и теперь наслажд& Это моё любимое пиво.

Bottiglia di vetro chiaro da 355 ml che lascia intravedere perfettamente il colore somigliante alla coca-cola. Color coca-cola con schiuma fine, persistente di color nocciola. I profumi non sono molti su tutti una leggera tostatura e frutta matura rovinati da una leggera aciditŕ. Al palato note maltate e tostate con un finale leggermente amaro che lascia spazio ai sapori di frutta matura.

355 ml. bottle from Netto. Clear, dark amber colour with a fast fading off-white head. Sweet aroma with lots of caramel, bread and a light roasted note. Not much bitterness for a stout, more like a well made dunkel. Light to medium sweet taste. Medium body, actually very good for the abv. Creamy texture with a soft carbonation, medium length finish where a little bit bitterness kicks in. Not a stout in the classical sense, still a good and drinkable beer.
