Clear mahogany color, good creamy beige head. Toffeish nutty weak aroma. Crisp carbonation. Quite unbalanced flavor of toffee, harsh maltyness and nutty hops. Plasticky aftertaste with light hops and sugar. Pretty average anniversary beer.

muffel (130) - Lower Saxony, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2010
Bottle 500ml (K-Market Kamppi). Light brown-reddish (mahogany) color with thin white head. Medium carbonation. Aroma of toffee, dark hops and sweetish malt. Taste is malty, fruity, lightly metallic and sweet. Somewhat bitter-sweet dry aftertaste, but still easily drinkable. Another Belhaven I like, but not my favorite of their beers.

Bottle. A smell of grain, very light sour, some bitter chocolate. The head is large, creamy and light beige with a normal carbonation. The body is red. A light bitter taste, also light metallic but in a nice way. The beer is dry, light to medium strong with a normal carbonation.

sound67 (223) - Offenbach, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2009
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2009 50cl dark amber bottle, as shown. Color, likewise, is dark amber. Creamy, sticky medium head. Aroma of toffee and stewed fruit. Soft malty, caramel flavor, again with stewed fruit for balance. Rather sweetish. Medium-bodied at first, but with its oily texture it’ll grow on you. Soft bitter finish. As stated before, this really is a dark ale to relax comfortably in your chair on a quiet evening. You won’t drink many of these in one evening. Good ale.

bella schiuma bianca, compatta, risulta una birra molto rinfrescante e leggera. Leggermente agrumata,ma molto dissetante. una buona birra da compagnia,da bere senza pretese!
