On tap, don’t know if this should be on bott or cask so I put here. Clear amber color with small off white head. Aroma malty, light roasted with hay and grass. Taste is similar, malt, light roasted notes, low bitterness.

Served on cask into a Green King pint glass at the Wheatsheaf, Frimley Green (A GK tied house) Jan ’12.
Red to mid brown in colour with a small white head that was retained throughout drinking.
No real strong smells coming out of the glass other that a sweetish malt aroma.
Not the most exciting of beers in taste. Malt flavour, little bitterness, no hop notes present, a slightly sweet taste in the mouth with a slightly sour aftertaste, very subtle in this respect though!
Mouthfeel was OK - watery without real body or substance, but I’ve had worse in this respect.
Had that standard GK flavour!

Nice malty roast aroma with a hippy hinds. Nice amber ruby colour small white head. Medium sweetness in the start and then medium bitterness in the end but nice and smooth. Nice slicky beer drinkable and warmy. Good stuff. Nifely drought in Red Lion Cambridge Cherry Hinton

Cask - The Murderers, Norwich. A deep chestnut brown coloured beer that poured with a fine, lacing bright white head with good retention. Tangy red fruit, caramel, a bit of boiled maltiness and touches of yeast on the nose with a delicate metallic note coming through at the back. Biscuit malts to the fore on the tongue with red fruits & a subtle hop & toasty, dryish bitterness. Lingering tang & biscuit finish. Light to medium body, soft mouthfeel. Doesn’t take my breath away but it’s fine; I can’t complain. A shame the biscuit character decreases working down the glass. The malts are OK and there’s some yeastiness in there too which suits it.
