Pint on nitro - Mild aroma of toasted malts and toffee. Pours transparent brown with a medium lasting nitro head. Flavor is malty, sweet toffee and caramel with a touch of nutiness. Palate is creamy and smooth. Nothing to get excited about, but tasty enough to go well with my meal.

Malty and a bit smoky, with a sweet start and bitter finish. A little thinner than I expected, but still flavorful.

Starts somewhat sweet with a little bite at the end. Somewhat heavy, but very drinkable. I really like this one!

440 ml., 5.2 ABV, nitrogen can similar to Guinness. It has a wonderfully long lasting tiny bubbled head, nice mahogany color, mild nose, soft on the tongue, flavors are not complex. Minimal sweetness throughout, no real hop sensation either early or late. Good enough, but not great.

Tesco, Helensburgh. Poured a golden brown with an off white head. Aroma was malty with a vague smokiness, but not saying much really. Thin mouthfeel. Slightly metallic twang, some bitterness. Deeply average.

Amber with a large off-white head. Malt aroma with earthy notes. Sweet with a clean finish. Nice.
