From bottle : Pours a clear dark rusty color, with a finger of white fluffy head with good retention. Nose of roasted coffee beans and caramel, a little faint though, but what is there is quite good. But what was so good about the smell, they dont follow up with in the beer. Taste isnt bad, there just really isnt anything there, very bland, maybe a slight bit of malt, but not much. Medium body, feels pretty smooth in the mouth, and the aftertaste is a little malty. Nothing really stands out whatsoever about this beer, other then a little bit of good faint smell.

Sweet aroma, smells of grapes. Kind of an unfiltered amber color. Unique taste. Caramel and fruit flavor. Flavor starts to disappear though

Bottle. Thick and dark with a decent tan head. My friend described it as a meal in a glass. Somewhat chewy with a definite biscuit flavor. Light roasted notes with a hint of molasses. This would make a great winter warmer. In fact, I think I will have another.

Can from Belmont Station in Portland, OR--Poured a brown-grey body with a fluffy tan head that dissipated. Smooth, nutty, mildly sweet, crisp, caramel flavor. Finished with residual fruitiness and some bittering hoppiness, but not much. Very light and highly quaffable. Nice brew!

Bottle, thanks to Craig for this, part of my Cropredy swap box, consumed 28-08-08 Pours mid amber with a white frothy head. The carbonation is quite high, makes one belch a few times aside from this there can be very few complaints, its just a simple no nonsense bitter which I liked, its not too bitter, not too fruity or malty, its just a really simple but decent session ale that I could happily quaff all night long, and even more impressive to think that its pateurised. Nice beer.
