Very enjoyable ale. Had a subtle sweetness to it that was very enjoyable that was followed by a slight bitter aftertaste. Good mouthfeel and aroma had hints of vanilla. Very creamy. A must try.

If you like the flavor of Newcastle then you will probably love this. It has a simular flvor but differances that make it worth being the first pick.

Golden/copper color with a nice, creamy white head similar to that of guinness. Mild nutty, slightly sweet aroma. Extremely smooth and malty flavor with a light hop bite to it. One of the better scotch ales around.

Nitro tap at 99 Bottles in Santa Cruz. Light caramel color, good clarity, massive thick lacing, great retention. Bread crust malt aroma, toffee, some fruit. Flavor is of sweet bread, apple juice, a touch of peat, toffee, grass. Creamy body with low carbonation. Smooth but not flavorful enough for the thickness of the body. Very easy to drink.

Pours a reddish color with a thick and dense creamy tan head. The head remained throughout the entire drink. Smells of sweet malts and it tastes of some nuttiness and the malts. There are some decent hops involved that add a nice balance to this beer. Very creamy mouthfeel. Overall, a pretty nice session beer.

This was an amazing bitter. The beer poured a beautiful foggy light brown color with a hint of red. Smells of sweet malt with a pinch of hops. Well balanced flavor and aroma. The nuttiness is outstanding. Very smooth on the palate. Feels full bodied. Just a well balanced ale.

On nitro, pours a beautiful ruddy brown with a bit more crimson in it. The nitro causes a cascading cream colored head that is like velvet that persists the whole time I drink it. The nose is subtly caramel malty sweet. The flavor is a bit more overt, with more caramel, but added to it is brown sugar and slight dried fruit. Clean finish and creamy mouthfeel.
