Amber brown color, large amber head . Light malt aroma with flavors of nuts, light caramel, burnt toffee, earthy. Bitter and earthy finish. Big flavors given its abv.

AWESOME. love this beer. great for sessions or for sipping. for 3.9% this beer packs a great flavor that is simple enough for anyone to enjoy, yet complex enough for beer snobs to find very satisfying. if poured correctly, the head is super creamy, rich and thick like boddington but more so. not much aroma, but i can detect some light fruitiness and maltiness. flavor is refreshing and very smooth. tart, nutty, and slightly malty with a kick ass finish that has a lingering alcohol sweetness. very well balanced. love love love this beer would have again anytime :)

Sampled out of a bottle. A nice brew. pours with a long lasting head. A very well crafted brew that is smooth, has a sweet aftertaste and well worth the $4.

fine beer I did not see that big of a head on this. The bitters typical of an Ale are pronounced yet suttle. Good marks for a good beer. I had this as BOM club nad bought it again.

Another fine beer from Belhaven. A nice nose of toffee, light caramel, with a bit of nuttiness to it. Appearance is a dark brown, cloudy with a nice 1/2" thick head. Flavor is smokey/peaty malts, sweet malts with a touch of brown sugar. Easy to drink and easy to enjoy. Always a nice go-to beer.

Draught can version. Has a rich buttery, fruity nose with a nice level of peat malt aroma. Thick foamy head courtesy of the nitro and some sediment, not sure if this is normal or not. Caramel and some toffee in the mouth, a very pleasant beer to drink.

Nose of honey, malt and tobacco. Pours an orange amber coloured beer. Taste is malty, some hops but buttery and watery also. Moderate sweet finish. ok.
