benpickens (129), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Feb 15, 2008 The widget can pours with a creamy head with curious little carbonation. Aroma of caramel and faint scents of apple. A good bear wanting to burst through a somewhat watery layer. BMan1113VR (2758), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Feb 15, 2008 Updated: Feb 27, 2009Really, just 3.9%? Quite tasty for that. Aroma is heavy roasted malts with some really light citrus notes. Large, creamy, off-white head with good retention and great lacing. Clear body that is a medium brown. Taste is very malty and salty out back. Mouthfeel is lightly creamy with some lively carbonation. BigMilly8 (374), Holiday, Florida, USA Feb 12, 2008 From bottle : Pours a clear dark rusty color, with a finger of white fluffy head with good retention. Nose of roasted coffee beans and caramel, a little faint though, but what is there is quite good. But what was so good about the smell, they dont follow up with in the beer. Taste isnt bad, there just really isnt anything there, very bland, maybe a slight bit of malt, but not much. Medium body, feels pretty smooth in the mouth, and the aftertaste is a little malty. Nothing really stands out whatsoever about this beer, other then a little bit of good faint smell. Cryotek (206), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA Feb 6, 2008 12oz bottle - Nothing that really stands out here. Copper color, almost taste coppery, rustic ale taste. Not as bitter of a finish as a pale ales. illini4ever (23), Illinois, USA Feb 1, 2008 Widget can produces a copper colored body with a substantial creamy head. Great caramel aroma. Very smooth maltyflavor with a slight bitterness at the finish. Hope to drink many more of these JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA Jan 20, 2008 Pours reddish copper with medium off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, smoke and caramel. Smooth flavor that matches aroma. Good. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Jan 18, 2008 Nitro can. Smooth and creamy with a nice light caramel taste. There’s a mellow smokiness that goes with it. Not too shabby. PGA324 (85), Savage, Minnesota, USA Jan 17, 2008 Thick, thick white head that was long lasting. Taste is smooth with creamy texture on the palate, sweet aromas, malty start with slightly bitter ending
