Dec 31, 2007 Bottle. Poured a deep copper with little head. This brew was a smooth, bitter beer. Reminded me of a stronger ale than traditional American brews. Very good, but not great.

Dec 29, 2007 Pint can with widget. Slightly creamy sweeter toffee and caramel malt on the nose. Pours mostly clear dark orange with brown undertones. Very thick and creamy white head. Lightly toasted malt with mild grassy hops on the tongue. Some chocolate and alcohol (which is very surprising due to the low ABV). Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Finishes with a light toasted maltiness.

Dec 24, 2007 Draught, deep brown colour with some red streaks. Aroma of malt, taste is made of fruit and caramel sweetness intermingled with a strong bitterness which is not over the top. Body is quite full. Nice medium long, sweet and sour finish. good beer to linger on.

Dec 20, 2007 (Tap) Pours a brown color with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted nut and caramel malts. Taste is similar, with a relatively light mouthfeel. I expected a little more body with this beer, but all in all it was still a good session beer.
