Sure, the filtering and pasteurizing probably pull alot of body and flavor out of the original product, but that doesn’t change the fact that I want to swim in a tub of this beer. Caramel and peat aromas and flavors. Top notch. peterheintz (1), marietta, Georgia, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 2, 2006 Just gets better. Nice mouth feel, yet feels a little thin. Tastes good, but I prefer my bitters with carbonation. mobster07 (18), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Nov 17, 2006 Carmel candy sweetness, and grainyness in the aroma and flavor. Nice reddish hue to otherwise brown body with long lasting, fluffy head (very inviting). Creamy, smooth mouthfeel goes excellent with the flavor profile. fonefan (11003), VestJylland, Denmark
