Oct 29, 2006 Bottle. Red/brown colour with a tan head. Aroma of caramel, nalt, fruit and smoke. Flavour is much the same with a bitter finish.

Oct 26, 2006 Nose of malt and a bit of hops. Nice foamy head, and flavors of nuts and just a hint of smoke. A well-built beer, but not impressive.

Oct 23, 2006 A nice beer with strong smokey flavor and aroma, although it maybe a little overpowering for the size of the beer. Caramel flavor and aroma is less than I would like, but still very well made beer and very enjoyable as an afterdinner drink.

Oct 23, 2006 Pours a nice looking golden/amber with a dense creamy tan head. The aroma is fruity and spicy. Creamy body and mouthfeel. Bitter fruityness (plummy), roasted fig aspect. A touch of spicyness and has a balancing light dryness in the finish. Good flavors and body texture, considering the low alcohol content.

Oct 22, 2006 (500ml bottle) Purchased at the BC Liquor Store in Fairfield Plaza, Victoria. Pours a medium, tan head with a light brown body. Nose of roasted caramel malt. Really unimpressed with this beer as I thought there would be more malt-base to it. I found it rather watery and thin - all the while the malt didn’t hold much mossy or earthy tones. Lacking. A disappointment.

Oct 16, 2006 Very good. This thing was smooth, man, I’m talkin’ SMOOTH. It just rolls down the ol’ throat like an avalanche. Thoroughly enjoyed this brew.

Oct 13, 2006 Bottle. Pours copper with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel malts, smoke, and hops. The flavor is citrus, caramel, smoke, bitter upfront, finish slightly sweet. Good body, decent brew.
