Nice body. Odd aroma of smoked fruit. Lucious in the mouth and throat. Sounds like a bad porno movie. I like the palate, the color, the flavor, but there is something off-putting in the smoky aftertaste. I think I could develop a taste for this though.

Draught at The Flying Saucer in Raleigh, NC. Clear amber color with thin white head. Nitrogenated beer, so very smooth and easy on the palate. Creamy nose with subtle citrus hop undertones. Smoky bacon flavor mixed with citrusy hops.

A quite robust smokey aroma with caramel accentuating the experience which includes a delectiable taste as well. A very nice bitter that tastes of roasted malts, caramel and toffee. Reminds me of a Heath (candy) bar, yet the palate is rather watery.

Tawny brown, clear, nutty aroma with a bit of ashy smoke. Great flavours of peat and toffee, but the body is a little thin. Different and very good overall.

Off white, almost pale yellow head that thins and lingers. Mildly creamy and nutty aroma. A very dark red, almost opaque. Creamy and malty taste with almost no bitters. Very smooth with little carbonation. A very pleasent beer if poured from the tap. Less flavorful if poured from the bottle and the carbonation increases, spoiling the beer. An excellent beer to have while listening to Led Zeppelin’s ’Battle of Evermore’

not a fan of the scottish beer. very, very smooth and almost creamy. I need a beer with a bite, more hoppy then a smooth bitter. I wouldn’t buy this beer.

Pint bottle poured to pint glass. Average head, nutty and smoky flavors, tasty with good fizz.

Pours dark amber with a foamy tan head. Aroma is bready, toasted malts, dark fruits, and a hint of smoke. Taste is spicy, nutty, and roasty. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and fizzy.
