JediMindTricks (239), Hampton, Virginia, USA May 4, 2009 to all my fans..."it is what it is"............................................... BiddleBrau (303), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Apr 22, 2009 Copper with nice white head. Sweet malt aroma and caramel sweet flavor. Light on the hops. Low carbonation gave this a creamy palate. On tap at Peculier Pub, NYC. lumpsowers (235), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Apr 19, 2009 Copper clear pour, nice head, nice lace. Beery metallic aroma. Again flat, very sweet, sugary toffee caramel flavor. Thin, smooth mouthfeel, with a strange fruity aftertaste that rises up the nose.
Oscbert (531), Sacramento, California, USA Apr 19, 2009 ~Pours a murky reddish brown with fluffy off white head.
~Sweet malts and citrusy scent. Floral as well. Smells tart.
~Sweet citrusy taste, somewhat tart in flavor as well.
~Medium feel, citrusy bitter finish.
~Good brew, but I prefer Scotch ale to be a bit smokier and woodsy. thenumber1g (68), Cary, North Carolina, USA Apr 15, 2009 Nice creamy head! Sweet smell, it tasted really good going down. I really didn’t expect it from a beer with 3.9% ABV. VERY GOOD! BVery (446), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA Apr 12, 2009 TAP: nice creamy nitro pour, sweet malt and toffee on the nose. Taste is caramel/toffee, easy drinking. Davros (201), Australia Apr 6, 2009 Creamy covering of off-white head leaves some lacing. Murky copper/brown, loads of sediment floating around.
Toasty/earthy/toffee malt dominates aroma, some dark chocolate.
Taste is much the same, sweet toffee and toasted malts.
A bit watery.
Very easy drinking, and at 3.9% you really would get through quite a few of these without too much trouble. jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Apr 5, 2009 From a nitro can poured a light brown color with a good amount of thick head. Nice mild malty flavor with a quick finish.
