TAP: nice creamy nitro pour, sweet malt and toffee on the nose. Taste is caramel/toffee, easy drinking.

Creamy covering of off-white head leaves some lacing. Murky copper/brown, loads of sediment floating around. Toasty/earthy/toffee malt dominates aroma, some dark chocolate. Taste is much the same, sweet toffee and toasted malts. A bit watery. Very easy drinking, and at 3.9% you really would get through quite a few of these without too much trouble.

From a nitro can poured a light brown color with a good amount of thick head. Nice mild malty flavor with a quick finish.

The color of an Oktoberfest medium amber. A little cloudiness in the body. Caramel and honey in the flavor. Medium light colored head. A little nuttiness is also present. Nothing special but very enjoyable.

Poured from a 120z. bottle into a pint glass. The color is a hazy brown with a foamy white head The smell is crisp with hints of caramel, hops, and a little nutty feel as well. The taste is bready, like toast, has a bit of a hops flavor, with caramel and a little fruit feel. It is a lot like many english ales. A bit bitter but easy drinking.

On tap at Meg O’Malleys--Small head by the time it arrived at my table. The head did leave lacing during the entire drink. The color was a deep amber with a slight amount of carbonation. I didn’t notice much of a aroma, perhaps a bit of hops. This tends to be a problem of mine at restaurants. The taste is sweet with some caramel and nuts. Lovely drink.

On tap @ St. Andrews on 44th & 5-6th. Bartender poured a nice sized sample of this for me and a coworker. Nitro pour, intensly froathy off white head. Mouthfeel was very creamy/buttery. Notes of nut, cream and malt. Good, but it’s most accomplished attribute is the creaminess of this.
