Belhaven Scottish Ale / Export (Bottle & Keg)

A red beer with a good head. It has a slightly fruity aroma. And a good sweet powerful flavor.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown with a rich, beige head. Notes of nuts and roasted malt with a light edge of smoke reminding me of Scotch. A bit low in carbonation and quite dry. A decent but far from sophisticated brew. 140700

Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully diminished white head. Light malty aroma. Flavour is light fruity hops with a mild bitterness and again a light fruity note towards the finish. Light fruity/hoppy finish.

Bottle. Clear dark amber color with a large off-white head. Sweet and malty with notes of butter and fruits.

Nitro can. Dark amber coloured with huge creamy white head. Mild malt and caramel in aroma, with some weak fruitish hints. Mild flavour of malt and a bit caramel. Hoppy finish, which is a bit papery. Pleasant beer to drink while spending a social evening at pub .)

Bottle at ÅBF08. Hint of malt, slightly rough. Clear dark golden colour. Very small white head.

Bottled. Clear orange coloured with a huge off white head. Aroma of malts, fruits and hops. Flavour of malts and hops with notes of smoke.
