Bottle. Poured dark orange-brown with a moderate off-white head. Intriguing aroma, smoky malts, and yes tea (thanks edden), dried fruits and a bit of peat. Flavor is nice, more smoky maltiness, light hops and an oaky finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty good ale.

Wonderful thick, creamy head (which is what is supposed to happen in the draught can). Settling was excellent and the head reamained through to the finish. Looks great in the glass. Excellent color (dark iced tea) and clarity. Slight smokey overtones with a slightly bitter finish of hops. Very smooth and easy to drink. Would definately recommend for someone looking for a light to medium bodied ale.

Pours dark amber into a shaker. Off-white micro head with good retention subsides with minor lacing. Malt aromas. Crisp and tingly with front to back caramel. Lasting malt finish.

Draught. BEAUTIFUL pour. Amber/red in color with a creamy one finger offg white head. Nose is malty and clean. The taste is dry, dry, dry. Like the Sahara in the desert dry. Dry. Dry. Dry. And slightly bitter. I really couldn't get over the fact that it was so freakn' dry. Not bad, but not great.

Deep ruby/amber color and rich tan head that left nice lacing. Slight smoke to the aroma and flavor. Not bad but nothing exceptional.

Pours brown with an off-white head. Has a little lacings. Aromas of smoked malt but way too sour. Also aromas of metals and bitter hops. Watery. Sour/smoked finish. I like the smokedness but it is (as mentioned) too sour.

Deep amber color. Nice thick off-white head. Aroma is malty, some smoke notes present. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Taste is malty, smokey. Pleasant.
