Intriguing aroma, smoky malts, and yes tea (thanks edden), dried fruits and a bit of peat. Flavor is nice, more smoky maltiness, light hops and an oaky finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty good ale. Dorwart (1832), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA

Settling was excellent and the head reamained through to the finish. Looks great in the glass. Excellent color (dark iced tea) and clarity. Slight smokey overtones with a slightly bitter finish of hops. Very smooth and easy to drink. Would definately recommend for someone looking for a light to medium bodied ale. thornecb (1819), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

Nose is malty and clean. The taste is dry, dry, dry. Like the Sahara in the desert dry. Dry. Dry. Dry. And slightly bitter. I really couldn't get over the fact that it was so freakn' dry. Not bad, but not great. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA

Aromas of smoked malt but way too sour. Also aromas of metals and bitter hops. Watery. Sour/smoked finish. I like the smokedness but it is (as mentioned) too sour. 11026 (1772), Alabama, USA
