| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Mar 20, 2006 Going into the glass the appearance is of a dark murky tea. Only a small amount of foam. Aroma is of corn and raisens. In the mouth the beer feels like the carbonation is pretty high considering the lack of head. I expected more bitter tastes in this one but there is only a hint of it. There are more sweet malts than bitterness. It seemed to get sweeter as the glass emptied. I liked this beer and found it fairly complex but consistent. It was also refreshing. bubslang (438), Kentwood, Michigan, USA

Deep amber color with the fine creamy off-white head you get from the nitro. The nose was a thin sweetness with the washed out sense I find out with a nitro pour. Very smooth mouthfeel. Caramel sweetness with some peat smokiness and toast. A solid standard.
