5.2% ABV version. Pours a clear amber color with small, short lasting white head. Smell is a bit like your average lager. Medium body with smooth and oily texture. Medium carbonation. Taste is balancing between bitter and sour, with sourness coming through mostly in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is a bit dry. It is somewhat lacking in aroma department, not coming through good enough. Water / beer ratio should be reversed, so to speak. However, there are some hints of caramel, nuts and spices. A bit grassy aftertaste with a long and dry finish. Overall, a bit mediocre but not bad. Could be better, tho.

Rich nutty aroma. Good malty body. Only big proplem I have is the the sour offputting finish which could be just from this bottle. will try again.

11.2 oz bottle from The Caboose in Ashland, VA The ale poured a clear reddish amber color with an off-white head and lacing. A good looking ale. Not much on the nose maybe some sweet bready aroma from the malt. I do not detect much in the bitterness area. This ale has a medium body ale with soft carbonation. There was a sweetish-malty finish with nuttiness at the end.
