I enjoyed this beer. It’s beautiful when first poured, a dark amber color with a half-inch head. It has a caramel, oak taste that finishes slightly bitter, but is still very smooth.

copper color, foam is not persistent, low training and duration. The palate follows the caramel aroma, and alcohol and barely noticeable, and leaving an aftertaste with a very slight bitterness.

5.2% ABV version. Pours a clear amber color with small, short lasting white head. Smell is a bit like your average lager. Medium body with smooth and oily texture. Medium carbonation. Taste is balancing between bitter and sour, with sourness coming through mostly in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is a bit dry. It is somewhat lacking in aroma department, not coming through good enough. Water / beer ratio should be reversed, so to speak. However, there are some hints of caramel, nuts and spices. A bit grassy aftertaste with a long and dry finish. Overall, a bit mediocre but not bad. Could be better, tho.
