3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Draught. 5.2% ABV not 3.9 as listed.
Pours a milky cream at first then turns a clear amber color with a thick cream head. Aroma is of strong hops. Kind of nutty. Taste is bitter through and through but has notes of nuts and butter. Not too bad.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear amber brown with tan head. Light malt toffee aroma. Taste is pungent yet thin (light body). Woodsy earthy finish. Not bad, but I am not running to the store to get more either.

Lovely Scottish ale, with a nice maltyness and nutiness to it, would definitely drink again

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Budget bottles from B&M- the 5.2% version. Bright chestnut with a high pocked white foam. Pleasant and Germanic with more depth than expected; layers of malt interleaving chestnut, lactic, toffee, milk chocolate, saline/slate and well done veggie sausage aspects. Good roasted nutty finish. Aroma similarly enticing with a carob-like waft of chocolate enrobed doppelbock. Thankfully not a trace of GK. For a big brewery beer (retailing at B&M for 89p a bottle), rounded and complex.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nitro can from Bert’s
Deep auburn color with a proper off white nitro head. A bit heavy on the butterscotch flavor and aroma. Dry pitted fruits a hint of mineral water. Decent enough ale, but not my style.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not sure if this is in the right place but it fits here best 5.2 abv and a blue bottle bought at b and m aroma and taste of nuts and toast quite sweet and syrupy would class this as Scottish ale rather than a bitter unusual
For the nuttiness alone.

Barva: tmavá jantarová. Pěna řídká. Vůně: příjemná lehká obilná. Vyšší říz, příjemná hořkost. Škoda určité vodnatosti...
