It is black with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and anise. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate and hints of licorice. It is really nice, and it is clearly the best Belhaven I have had.

Black with a light tan head. Aroma is a lightly roasty old milk chocolate, interesting yeast and hop combination. Taste is lightly roasty, with milk chocolate, and chocolate syrup- Tastes like an amped up Youngs Chocolate Stout.

Bottled(500ml). -at Kaledonia Budapest. Black coloured, medium sized brown head that went away slowly leaving nice lace. Mild chocolate nose. Roasted malt, chocolate and light coffee taste with notes of vanilla and cocoa. Smooth and quite silky with dry roasty finish. Well brewed stout.

Deepdeep black body, delicious stable and creamy beige head. Rich aroma with deep roasted malt, vanilla, sweet candy sugar. Smooth mouthfeel of robustic roasted malt, coffee, sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and some herbs. Roasted aftertaste. Delicious and fine, characteristic one.

Bottle. Pours black with a small light tan head. Aroma is quite odd--slight roasted malt and also some vegetal notes I think Flavor is rather salty with a vague malt backbone. This is one of the oddest stouts I’ve had and I don’t like it. 4/4/4/3/11 (2.6/5)

Jet black, tiny head. Sweet aroma of yesterday’s coffee. Bacon in the mouth, and a sweet roasty body. Very drinkable. No hint of 7% - lovely!

Mildly roasted, lightly bitter sweetish coffee flavoured stout. Pretty damn nice and the alcohol doesn’t taste at all, great brew to get arsed on.

Bottle... Pours black with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki, never-ending head. Dark chocolate, campfire smoke and charcoal stand out in the nose. Medium-bodied and creamy with lazy carbonation. Sweet, chocolaty, nutty flavor and finish. Bottle provided by darkguardian!

Dark brown color with a smallish light tan head. Hints of roasted malt, smoke and heavy caramelized sugar. Light sweet start with light peat and mocha. Some caramel and roasted malt in the finish. Linger is dry with some black malt bitterness. Easy enough to drink.
