"i’m going to go against the grain a bit, at least on this site, and score the feel a touch higher than the rest. for a regular stout (not a big cewy imperial) i thought the mouthfeel was superb. creamy and smooth, and just enough abv to notice without any heat. reminded me of a samuel smiths oatmeal/imperial hybrid in it’s roasty chocolate goodness, both in flavor and aroma, and in the body. a touch of smoke on the back end of the flavor. i’ll definitely revisit."

Helt sort med et beige skum, skummet varte til glasset var tomt. Aroma av rřstet malt, kaffe, sjokolade og moden frukt. Smaken fřlger aroma med en lang fin ettersmak og en lett bitterhet i avsluttningen.

From a can. Pours black as night and makes a creamy tan head. Smells of chocolate and malts. Tastes of complex hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Barwa ciemno brunatna, pod światło pojawiają się lekkie refleksy. Piana beżowa, szybko opada. W aromacie kawa, palony słód, gorzka czekolada i ciemny chleb. W smaku palone nawet popiołowe. Lekka czekolada i pewne zaskoczenie. W tle daje się wyczuć smak bardzo podobny do magii :) Bardzo ciekawe połączenie. Goryczka średnia, ziołowa. Jak na mój gust to za mało kwasowe. Lekkie wysycenie, wyczuwalny minimalny alkohol.

Good pouring beer. Nice rich black color with creamy head. Medium texture with moderate carbonation. Toasted malty aroma. Caramel notes come through. Overall, good drinking beer.

Bottle from a local store. The Scottish Stout smells malty with coffee and roast aroma. It pours very dark brown with a minimal and fast vanishing head. The taste is sligtly sweet with a strong roasty flavor of coffee and finishes with a hoppy bitterness.

Had this in a bottle. Not a big fan of the cans with a wigget inside. A rich amber brew with ruby high lights a decent size head with good carbonation. Smells of butterscotch malt, low hop bouquet that’s earthy smelling. Sweeter tasting malts with a very subtle hint of grains and biscuit maybe even a tad nutty. Has a dry finish. Soft tasting and smooth some cloying that coats the tongue a little. Very drinkable, good for a long session. Fantastic fall colored beer with a good foam head through out the session with lacing all the to the bottom.

Bottle. Black colour, small beige head with poor lacing. Nose is faint, with surprisingly large amount of caramel. Mouth is much better: also some caramel, but with strong roasted malt and a bit ash. Light bitterness, but also a bit of sweetness, which I don’t like. Medium body. Quite ok, but there are better stouts.
