4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pint bottle- poured out an inky black with a strong wheat head. Aroma was full malt with light chocolate undertones. Taste was excellent, coffee, chocolate and malt. Suffers from a palate that was pretty thin for a stout, even if very smooth. Nice finish, with an alcohol kick. Overall, very good to excellent.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shared with David Pole from clear pint bottle into snifters. It poured a near-opaque dark brown colour with thin but persistent light brown foam. Toasty, no harsh roasty notes. Somewhat reminiscent of a Belgian Dubbel: toffee, burnt sugar, and rich caramel sweetness, rum, some dark fruit notes like tart cherries, ripe raspberries, raisins. Medium body and carbonation, warming but otherwise well-concealed alcohol. Smoother and sweeter than a traditional stout, blending some caramelly Scotch ale traits as predicted.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Veery malty, seems nearly a Malzbier. Way too sweet and malty for me. At least the alcohol is quite well integrated. I prefer dry stouts. This one is definetely not for me.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sweet and roasted flavours. Chocolate and caramel flavours are rich, but it doesn’t feel heavy. I don’t get much from the hops.

aroma- mainly coffe, some chocolate, minimal roasted bread.
Beer is black with less than 1 finger almost brown head.
Taste like a nice classic stout, mainly coffe. Its nice and smooth.
Palate- I’d say full body, thick, soft carbonation.
Overall- well I asked guy in a shop for a good classic stout and I got one. Nice and stylish. 7/10

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours jet black with a fat tan head. Aroma is chocolate malts. Taste is bitter chocolates and some raisins. It doesn’t have that super velvety mouth feel that I like on my stouts, but it is tasty and very drinkable.

Bottle shared at the Kernel tap room, London, thanks to Ben. It pours a dark brown color with a medium tan head. Aroma is lightly roasted, with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits and espresso. Taste is medium sweet and lightly roasty with notes of wood, ashes, light booze, chocolate. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, tasty
