Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Oct 25, 2009 Black with white head, slight smell of burnt nothingness. Flavor of pool water. Not very flavorful or filling, just and a quick beer to down, like a Guinness. Tap at The Pub in Naples, Florida. BeerBrother1 (6), Harlingen, Texas, USA does not count Oct 18, 2009 This beer is fantastic. When poured you have to wait about a minute for the head to form up. Watching the beer form up is a real treat. Poetry in motion. Very creamy khaki colored head that stays with the beer until the last drink. The texture of this beer is the real treat. Silky, caressing feel on the palate with a feel feel like true love. Strong coffee and roasted malt on the forground of this beer. Finishes clean and dry with a slight bitterness. I love this beer. travita (1861), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 16, 2009 Tap at the Gingerman in Ft. Worth. Nitro tap. Nice creamy tan colored head. Black dark color. Delicious. glennmastrange (809), hobe sound, Florida, USA Aug 28, 2009 Tap, nitrogen charged. Heavy malt aromas of toasted and dark chocolate, light citrus and earth for the hopa and yeast. Head is huge, super dense and creamy, off-white with excellent thick lacing, covering almost 100% of the glass, and is fully lasting. Color is black. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately bittersweet. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, creamy and has a soft carbonation. A pretty good Stout, thick and rich, and full of taste.
