dornoy (619), Lyngby, Denmark Oct 22, 2006 Off white head on an amber body. The flavour is tto bitter, too acid to my taste. Perhaps I got a wrong bottle, but I’l definitely pass.
brigg (125), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 28, 2008 (bottle) Dark amber body and a lasting, off-white head. Buttery, caramel nose with lots of medium-roasted malt and light hops. Moderately sweet, soft and a light-bodied. Light bitterness in the aftertaste. It’s simple, but very drinkable. Fin (2179), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Aug 25, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Craig aka cgarvieuk, cheers mate. Had this in field at Towersey Festival, Oxon, w/e 20th-25th August 08 Some fruitiness shows quickly along with a soft maltiness but I find this a touch thin and watery, although I’m drinking this out of a horrible ceramic mug which I’m not sure does my beers any favours (it’ll be ditched) Its ok. brew4fun (118), West Virginia, USA Aug 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pour is bright copper, 1-finger white, creamy, persistent head. Aroma is malty, chocolate is first impression. Taste is fruity, malty, smooth and lightly buttery. Nice hop bitterness, balancing the malt. Full body yet not overly filling. Mitch_Wayne (100), Kokkola, Finland Aug 17, 2008 Fruity and smoky aroma, sweet taste in moderation, roasted notes with some ashy vibes along with some hops in the end. Autumnal beer, would buy again. madquacker (479), Canberra ACT, Australia Aug 17, 2008 Murky muddy look with a fizzy head for its type. Soft on the palate with some sweetness and spice. I was dreading that this was trading off the name, but was actually a quite nice beer.
