Powertrip (73), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Mar 12, 2007 Light but complex aroma. Garden with vegtables, herbs and flowers. Hoppy. Nice pour with a sizable but thin head, nice buzz on the palate. A wonderful finish with delicious afterthougths.
Snojerk321 (1124), San Diego, California, USA Nov 18, 2008 Pours a surprising amber color that seems promising with a slight fizzy head. The first taste is a little boring with English hops and barley and slight flavors amaretto and apricots. However, the beer leaves the mouth quite dry and the bitterness of the hops isn’t well balanced by the sweetness of the malts. MrBunn (951), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 1, 2008 Bottle. Pour is a light brown/dark amber with a small frothy head and aromas of herbs and dusty/bready grains (smells almost like rye bread). Flavor has a caramel/toffee/rye bread malt presence with a bit of spice (pepper, grass, & allspice). This is pretty pleasant, but kind of uninteresting. thornecb (1228), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Oct 19, 2008 Pours deep amber into a shaker. Bright white head recedes to skim surface. Bread and caramel aromas. Crisp and slightly sour. Dry, lasting nut brown, caramel finish. tlind2 (342), Helsinki, Finland Oct 16, 2008 500 ml bottle. Deep amber color, creamy white head. Slightly herbal hop aroma. Smooth fruity, hoppy flavor, malty finish. Light body, slightly watery. Straight-forward, drinkable beer. Miksu (1357), Jyväskylä, Finland Oct 12, 2008 0.5 l bottle. Amber color with creamy head. Sweetish, caramelly, nutty and slightly toasty aroma with notes of flowery british hops.
