A dark golden ale with floaties floating about, a bit murky, and a thin off white head. Light caramel malt, with light musty oxidation notes. In mouth, a good nutty caramel malt, woody with light peated notes, a bit past its prime, but overall, a nice ale, very Scotch. Bottle BB Apr. 2008.

Light amber in color with a medium off white head. Aroma is malty with caramel, musty grain, and some fruity notes. Taste is moderately sweet with molasses/caramel, toasted malts, light stale grain, and fruit.

Taste 7/8/ Bottle Date? Looks: Hazy brown/ tea with light yeasty head that lingers on the glass. Aroma: Tea, yeasty sour, grain and mild lime/lemon. Taste: Sour grain with a little bite and citrus. Light bodied and crisp. Good brew. Would buy again.

500ml Bottle - Copper brown in colour. A fruity and malty aroma with some raisins. Tangy, fruity and slightly sweet taste with malt and raisins along with some noticeable but fairly subtle hops with grapefruit notes. Not bad.

Copper, quite thick pale head. Straight butterscotch nose, warm spiciness and wood. Flavor is woody, mildly smoky with warm caramel maltiness, little grassy hops and earth. Light to medium bodied, easy drinking palate. Very Scottish indeed, nicely warm and woody.
