Everything an english ale should have, except it is a bit watery in the aftertaste .

Aug 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pour is bright copper, 1-finger white, creamy, persistent head. Aroma is malty, chocolate is first impression. Taste is fruity, malty, smooth and lightly buttery. Nice hop bitterness, balancing the malt. Full body yet not overly filling.

Aug 17, 2008 Murky muddy look with a fizzy head for its type. Soft on the palate with some sweetness and spice. I was dreading that this was trading off the name, but was actually a quite nice beer.

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle from Ultra, Lorenskog. pours crystal clear red amber with frothy white head. Very malty aroma, typical for those scottish ales. fruity flavor and dry spicyness on the finish. A very drinkable thirst quencher.
