A stunning India Pale Ale (IPA), don’t think that Belhaven’s Twisted Thistle has anything jaggy, spikey, prickly or otherwise pain-inflicting in its nature. Quite the opposite. Your taste buds will tingle with pleasure after a sip or two of this golden nectar. A real treat from our master brewers in Dunbar.
Ingredients: Pale malt, Cascade and Challenger hops.

Golden pour. Aroma bit that great. Can't place it, but of cheap beer. Hops are subtle, definitely a British IPA. Slight citrus flavor. Goes down smooth. A session able brew ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Old rating rerated 20.08.2014, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Small slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet fruity, sap, caramel malts, leafs, bark, heather, weeds, wet grass, dried fruits. Taste is slightly sweet grassy, sap, leafs, caramel malts, dried fruits, wet grass, bark, weeds, hops. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh and watery mouthfeel. Fair enough, just boring.

Bottle from Tesco Copper orange with an off white head. Citrus and fruits throughout. Also reminds me of hay, a bit dry perhaps. Bitter after taste. A bit thin as I got to the end of the bottle.

Honung, nektarin, väldigt mjuk.lite bitterhet. Ingen spets trots lite humle. Otypisk IPA.

CanCrusher (610) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle 0,33L. Clear, copper colour with small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, honey, vanilla, caramel. Taste is moderate bitter and fruity with caramel sweetness at the same time. Medium to full body, oily texture and soft carbonation. Really good brew, but it seems more like APA to me.

Light yellow liquid with small white head. Clear and unusually transparent. Aroma is weak in my opinion. Hops, some pine woods. Taste is slightly hoppy with malts. Not a really unique IPA.
