YK23 (201), Israel Jul 18, 2008 Updated: Jul 19, 2008Bottle: sweetish fruity malt backbone, orange marmalade, some grapefruit and cirtusy hoppy bitterness but not enough though, this beer could have used more flavor and more body, good hoppy bitterness in the finish, quite enjoyable and quite thirst-quenching, nice. rauchbier (2860), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Jul 13, 2008 Bottle, from Morrisons, Grimsby. Gold, good white lasting head, moderate condition. Gentle chalky citrus hoppiness initially in the nose with some sweet biscuity malt emerging. Soft but full bodied and sweet in the mouth with a balancing background citrus hop note. Sweet and chalky finish with a restrained resinous hop bitterness lingering. djtoucan (26), Tokyo, Japan Jul 12, 2008 First time I had this beer and it was on tap! Nice Scottish style’d IPA with a slightly creamy head but with that west cost IPA hoppy taste. Tasted better with more flavor when compared to Kilkenny. Kind of heavy and hard to drink more than 1 pint. Overall very good quality but sounds like the bottled version is better from what I read below? D (465), Kraków, Poland Jun 22, 2008 Orangey colour, solid head. Well balanced, has some fruity flavour reminding me of rose or something. Nice bitterness in finish. Very good. gam (471), brisbane, Australia Jun 8, 2008 Good thick frothy head in an amber pour, with great carbonation.Aroma is sweet fruit, both citrus and stone fruit notes of peach and grapefruit.Flavour is malty, citrus hop,has a tasteof grapefruit, crisp, plesant.Nice bitterness from the hops, sweet peach and apricot touch not strong just enough.Flavours are not strong but a good mouthfull prodfuces enough flavour to please.Finish bitter dry, good IPA.
