tomer (171), Israel Sep 3, 2008 0.5L bottle, stable lacing head which lasted even after the beer was gone. clear dark gold colour with orange taints.
When poured, a melange of tropical fruit aroma bursts out of the glass, among them i detected pineapple and mango. After a few minutes, some grapefruit and herbs come forward. Strong emphatic bitterness with notes of citrus and a touch of malt in the back. Body is medium to full, but the aftertaste is suprisingly short. austone (339), Turku; Pori, Finland Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Copper, coarse white lacing head. Nicely balanced, caramel malty and piney hoppy aroma. Pitchy flavor, raisins, biscuit maltiness, herbal finish. Slightly syrupy palate. Nice and balanced IPA, nothing extreme, but a lot better than most modern British attempts. joe1961_2 (421), camberley, Surrey, England Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Clear amber colour with little white head. Real basic IPA aroma. Plenty of friut and and hops in flavor, very easy drinkable IPA. HenrikSoegaard (3040), Randers, Denmark Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Niice grassy moderate bitter flavor. Heavy bitter finish. Oily palate. DSG (850), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 24, 2008 Bottle. Clear deep golden color with a medium stable white head. Aroma of hops, some flowers, citrus, trupical fruits hints and a malty background with some biscuits. Sweetish malty flavor at first with some breadiness. Continues bitter with American hops - some citrus and some piney notes. Medium-bodied, slightly oily and a tad overcarbonated for my taste. Overall very enjoyable and quite refreshing, I could have fun time sessioning this.
